Don, the comforting thing about that decision, to me, is that it will be made by Congress, on political, not legal, grounds. Congress, in this case, is majority Republican. Lest anyone else seek to comfort themselves with the concept of rising above party politics, Exhibit A is the impeachment of Bill Clinton.

I recognize that many think that it is possible, and even desireable, for Congress to transcend party politics. But I think that is a fairy tale we tell children because the truth would frighten them. Nature red of tooth and claw revolts many of those who don't have a problem with eating the steaks of the losers.

I contend that both the Democrat and Republican Florida Electors should vote because I think it is a given that Congress will have to sort out which panel of vote to count.
