It will be interesting to see how things unfold. I am not concerned. The election is the real problem, IMHO. If this thing drags out too long well into mid December, that could be a bit of a problem. As I doubt this will drag out for that long, I see the market heading up shortly.

I am still amazed how fast these lawyers can get a case up through the court to the supreme court of the state. That is why I think it ends soon.

Once we see finality in the election result, within 2 weeks of it, the Nasdaq will move at least 500 points. Save this post. Of course I mean a decision that both sides accept or are forced to accept and also that the Democrats and Republicans House and Senate members accept it and promise to try to work together instead of starting some new partisan public campaigns. I don't think it will get to this extreme and that is why I say 500 points will be easy.

BTW--I have been doing fine this year in the stock market, even from the long side. That is why I am not worried about my holdings.
