with us results are not released until all the polls are closed, nationwide so the media has no influence at all. sounds a bit overprotective to me. we're all adults here aren't we? gotta be 18 to vote. i don't like to see the govt. interfere with the media. didn't see any congressmen on TV - but i'd be against their meddling. i have to pay attention to my own TV work in the daytime so i don't catch much of the network or the CNBC stuff till night or weekend. much of my work is on computer so i usually have a browser window tuned to SI or Yahoo news, or a stock ticker so i sorta keep up. when i was about 24 i cooked a huge hamburger for thanksgiving - the patty filled a large skillet. we split it as family. we were just as thankful as the turkeytarians. it was fun. we had gobs of homemade fries too. the kids loved it as much as i did and the wife was ok with it. -el mcdonald E I E I O
