The woman has a laughable conflict of interest. Can you imagine the howling from talk radio if she had been Gore's Florida campaign manager. You would not even need a radio. Just hold up a stiff needle near your ear and hear ol Rush crying.

Great points but I think there is a faster way to have this thing get settled.
Gore has to somehow win due to the absentee ballots. That would end it right away and no one will be able to complain.

--2nd best solution--The complete recount.
--3rd would be that the court rules the deadline of Tuesday was valid and the manual counts are not valid.
--4th is for Gore to win in the Florida supreme court after the manual count.

I hope it does not get to number 4. Even though a complete recount will take longer, it will be considered leading to a fair solution. The market might rally right away under this scenario upon such an announcement. The election will be taken out of the market when such a decision is made. We won't have to wait for the recount for this market to rally as it will be perceived as fair and conclusive.
