What use would that be to anyone? If someone wanted to vote on a stolen ballot card they would just punch out the numbers they wanted to get the votes. They wouldn't need the thing that holds the card would they?

You'd need the machine, otherwise, Buchanan might pick up a few thousand more votes.

He sure wasn't a very smart thief was he? I mean showing it to everyone (even republicans) and all that.

Yes, it probably make it faster if you wanted to punch a bunch of ballots. Probably twice as fast. Do you know of anybody that did that? I think if his purpose in taking the box was to punch ballots for some reason he would never have let others know he had it.

>>>You'd have to ask the guy who stole it,but I'd assume it would help if you wanted to cleanly punchout a whole shitload of ballots.<<<<

What is the point to cleanly punching chad for votes? It becomes more than a little suspicious if bunches of cleanly sheared chadless votes show up for Gore on the Under Vote tables. It is not credible that they would appear from nowhere despite the close supervision of the whole process.
