Hmmm.... 115 to 40...pretty good sell off in my book. Sheesh

No selloff if you bought in at 30 to 33, like I did. I did not hold this one at any time over 40. I am buying it (Micron) because it is a bargain. With difficulties in big companies getting capital for expansion, a company like MU is going to benefit.
The assumption I am making is that the PC will not collapse. In addition, the Pentium 4 will result in higher memory than the P3. As the price has decreased, PC companies can offer more memory--increasing demand---leading to firmer prices in DRAM. The analogy I am using is OPEC and oil prices. Cut back in production will eventually lead to shortages and prices will increase. Opec operates like a monopoly but in the case of Micron, the increasing cost of capital will work similiarly.

IMHO of course.
