" Although I will never compare Gore to Hitler, Stalin, and other dictators, isn't that what Hitler and Stalin did in the 1920s and 1930s."

Just who are you comparing VP Gore to? I heard Orrin Hatch tonight use similar BS to bring Milosevic into the same sentence with Gore.

Same ole Bush stuff that he used on McCain in South Carolina. Crawl back in your hole.

there was a "fix."
On election night the only thing that was clear was that the exit polls were dramiticly different than the reported count. Clearly something was amiss, but it was not clear what. It was certainly suspicious that Junior George had been called by his brother Jed and told that Florida would be in the republican column when all independant verification showed otherwise.

This week has been devoted to finding out what did happen. Several things as it turns out. There is still a week or so to go before this is over.

Good Guy Clue.
Today James Baker was poo-pooing the Florida Supreme Court ruling saying "It only preseves the status quo". Okay, does that not mean it was the republicans who are using the courts to try and change the status quo then? He knows that his rabid follows are so conditioned to slogans that he could feed them turds the size of turnips and they would ask for more. I haven't heard the "We trust the people" slogan for a few days.
