Elmer - Re: 'Perhaps Intel will demand a recount until they get the results they like?"

Maybe Intel will declare a benchmark isn't over until Intel SAYS its over.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen Cringe or Tejerk or Lewinsky-Dan post those stupid " ATHWIPER - Fastest PC on Earth " posts in quite a while.

Brit Hume of Foxnews just reported that few days ago a democrat who received an absentee ballot but did not vote, received a call from two guys who identified themselves as lawyers working for Gore. Then they tried to persuade the democrat to vote and falsify the date on the ballot. They even offered to fly this guy to a foreign country to mail the ballot.

Does anybody have a link to this story?

Elmer,

it looks like you plan on doing yesterdays computing. In that case buy yesterdays computer

Brilliant. Everyone should go buy an Alpha based computer with recompiled software.

Remeber what made Intel rich? It was called "backwards compatibility with legacy software".
