Dear Mao II: That lawsuit is brought by 4 local Republicans, the Bush group is not involved in it.
Question for all:
Anyone here have any real knowledge about hand recounts and how they are supposed to be conducted? I am REALLY becoming concerned that it seems to be totally out of control now. For instance, in Palm Beach County we had an ordinance in 1990 as to how to tell a vote from a non vote. Basically, hanging chads were acceptable and dimples were not. Yesterday, after the Fla. Supreme Court ruled they could in fact count the ballots by hand, that same elections board (who had already counted around 70,000 ballots) decided to BEGIN again and THIS TIME count DIMPLES as voter intent. Does anyone think this will stand up to court review if the hand count were to be contested?? This hand count issue and the election itself has become so divisive and there is so many indications of abuse now (latest being an old man Irving Slossberg who actually lives right in my town) caught running around with a VOTEAMATIC machine which basically is a standard ballot box with an implement inside that allows one to push a pin through the selected holes of a ballot. This machine was found in the trunk of his car and witnesses say he was going from precinct to precinct with it. He is a Democrat but our Democrat elections board decided NOT to pursue it??
Is there ANY DEMOCRACY left here in Florida? JDN

OK M2, but don't worry I think there's another one in Brevard, and if there isn't there will be soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This whole mess makes a great lead-in to Bush's tort reform platform if he is the guy standing at the end of this.......

jajajajajajajaja
