Its amazing to me that everyone focuses on the money issue, when what started this thing was the comments Gilder made about the technology, i.e. he said 360 was using a technology that is not commercially available until next year not to mention his comments on light vs. fiber and mini duct and LVLT not being long haul etc. Maybe I'm in the minority here, wouldn't be the first time.

It appears Crowe was wrong about a few things in his letter!!! I received the following e-mail this morning from Stacy Ybarra, investor relations at 360Networks. Dear Lisa, Yes, we have lit 10,000 miles of network in North America. In certain areas of our network where we expect high traffic we have lit the network with the Nortel 1600 series.
