i agree. denial is the prevalent emotion...everybody neglects to mention that 'soft landings' are really the exception, not the rule. and with the biggest malinvestment/credit/asset bubble of all time winding down, to expect a soft landing is downright ridiculous...

Why Mercedes would bother to buy Chrysler still amazes me... although they've been involved in plenty of crappy investments over the years you would think they'd think they know auto's.
