Hope you will forgive the interruption, but ... It's amazing what people, using their frame of reference (garnered from their own environment), and adding a little paranoia, will conclude about any world event. Oh well, maybe they don't have it so bad where they are, they will say, and put off considering coming to the "land of the free". Whoever gets the presidency will be blamed for the recession to come, and the gridlock in government that will occur almost no matter what. Chances are good they will not win re-election. Who would want that scenario?
