I would be very careful with such assumptions about JNPR's potential. They are a threat to a small, but growing portion of CSCO's market.

Well, this sort of understates the issue. Carrier-class routers are not just any market niche; they are the market niche where (accdg to CW) all the profits will be.

How seriously have you investigated JNPR as an investment? This is not meant as a jab at you, nor an implication that you haven't investigated it seriously; I am just honestly wondering out loud whether your observations are just offhand top-of-head remarks, or whether you've done lots of DD. I have done some DD, not lots, and remain impressed with Juniper, even at these prices.
