Why aren't the Republicans speaking out more to support
Katherine? The Repubs are acting like a bunch of wussies.
Do the Repubs even know how to fight? Maybe some sort of
behind the scenes deal was cut with the Dems ie: approval
of personal projects. That wouldn't surprise me in the
least.

the lack of appreciable backlash.
Each cycle the elected republican presence in Washington gets smaller. The resignation of the Speakers of the House deflected much. More backlash will require another sacrifice.
