It is my understanding that Circuit Court Judge Lewis just upheld the decision of Florida's (Republican) Secretary of State, in effect supporting her decision to ignore the hand count.

Who knew this election would be decided by a trained dog?

Either guy would have political problems after he takes office. If Gore keeps fabricating votes for himself after Bush is declared the winner, it will indeed look worse for Bush.
