really. I'd hardly view traders as an authority on customer
demand, Andy Lark, a Nortel spokesman told Reuters.
An analyst at a major Canadian brokerage suggested that
investors who held short positions in Nortel stock, and would
benefit from its decline, were likely to have planted these
rumors.

Mike, you're a wise man. I wish I could've done the same thing. A stock that falls sharply due to FUD will rebound sharply once the FUD subsides. The efficient market will quickly adjust the appropriate valuation. NT should no where be 20 dollars under CSCO. Either CSCO comes down to NT, or NT will catch up back to CSCO.
