many of the methods employed by the administration to silence critics, get rid of witnesses, etc. remind one of those of a totalitarian state. to wit: enemies were e.g. subject to surprise IRS audits, many died surprisingly for a variety of reasons, many fled the country. lots of activities that stink to high heaven. will be interesting to see if the new administration (provided it's not going to be Robot) will unearth some of the dirty laundry, or if the current clique in power has managed to cover its tracks...
