The Florida Supreme Court has not yet ruled. If it doesn't support Gore then Bush may win, however the hand recount tallies will still become public knowledge and if they show Gore actually won and Bush is the one going to the White House there will be an enormous uproar and Bush, even if he wins, will always be a tainted president. This election is till too close to call. Several more court decisions and a lot more votes to tally. See the GOP disputing 20% of the hand counts now to try and obstruct that process. They are trying to steal this thing quick and blur the picture just in case Gore goes ahead. They know what that will mean.
