But JW how long can he keep appealing, while president elect is underway, they will annoucne victory and start announcing cabinet etc--would be almost impossible for Gore to come from behind and overturn dont you think

Jim, Gore will stop the legal action today--that is my prediction. This is probably considered a longshot but I think the odds better than 50/50 that he will concede, IMHO. If Gore has any hopes of running in 4 years, he will concede right now.

I think the talks out of the lawyers from Gore side are talking about appeals but I think Gore will come to his senses and back down.

Maybe that is why Baker did not spend too much time talking about decision--was very brief.
