This woman sure looks more comfortable having a CTI system scan than should we say.. having her "breasts" in a wringer!

*****MAMMOGRAPHY vs. CTI vs. BIOPSY********

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CTI SCANNER AND BIOPSY ARE APPROXIMATELY 20% MORE SENSITIVE (ACCURATE) THAN MAMMOGRAM, BASED ON THE STUDIES I JUST POSTED!

A review17 of the current clinical trial data, published and unpublished, summarized screening test performance for mammography using uniform definitions. Sensitivity of mammography did not dramatically differ across the trials. Estimates from three Swedish trials using mammography alone averaged about 75%.

REMEMBER THAT BIOPSY IS NOT 100% ACCURATE. SOME ESTIMATES ARE THAT IT IS 95-98% ACCURATE(SENSITIVE), CLOSE TO THE CTI SCANNER.
