Dems said last night, I believe, that they would appeal a neg. ruling, so no new news there imo. It could be a hint that the Dubbaya effect may not be as strong as some think...just a thinking out loud. Waiting for the mkt to finish talking :).

I'm with LG on this - these news events are just short term catalysts. After all, how much real impact on the "tech" market do you think W or Gore have? I propose very little.

Given that other sectors enjoy significant relative strength advantages over tech; that the SPX and NYA which are more non-tech than tech are also stronger, relatively speaking, and that the election as well as the results from same have been going on for some time - I have to conclude that its more or less a non issue.

No doubt oil and drugs and cattle ranching equipment might enjoy a pop from a W win, but *save the tech market*, I doubt it.

I suppose I should stick to charts, musing about funnymentals is not my bag.

PS: Now Quebec referendum, that was a whole different kettle of fish. Splitting up a country, the US largest trading partner, is not something to sneeze at.
