tom...."make me feel better"

wouldn't want to do that.....i think the catalyst for a short term rally will be gore's concession.....until the threat of ongoing legal action subsides, markets will wallow....

after that, it will be the slow return to growth stocks that present value....today's price action of brcm, and recent sell off of ntap are indicative of the current anti high pe mindset.....

return to some semblance of market efficiency will begin to reveal itself....

i'm tempted to accept assignment of 2500 shares rmbs monday....(adjusted cost basis of 62).......worse case scenario blow the common out if it dips below 58, or write cc against...

<<You and Keith make me feel better.>>

God, thats a scary thought.....vster, leaning on me for some faith<ggg>

Seriously though, I dont think we can really conclude what the markets want to do until we have complete closure to the election. Then, regardless, the rally will more likely be slightly less explosive then some think because folks WILL sell and take profits this time around. But, I've felt along that techs are the place to be, and thats where my $$'s sit. I do think it is imperative that we not only get this thing certified, but we must have an actual concession from the loser....a guarantee that this is over...no more lawyers, no more courts of law....and then the market will decide, and hopefully it decides that techs have been beaten down enough.

The one thing about this elction that really bugs me is this....I am all for hand counts, recounts and etc, etc,...I do want a fair count. I do not believe however it should be up to anybody to declare somebody elses intent, except for that person. there should be no reason to have folks debating and deciding on which person this person intended to vote for. That is preposterous. If it is not 110% clear what the intent of the voter was, then it should be a no vote. I know I for one, if I was in PB, I would be pissed that at this moment somebody could be changing my vote because they feel I intended to do something else. dammit, if you can't tell 110% how I intended to vote, you best throw my vote into the trash rather then determining my will for me, without me even knowing it. .....
