I don't WANT it both ways- if I implied this, it was unintentional. I DO believe that a man should be told if he has fathered a child and a decision be made mutually, though I realize how sticky this can get. I find casual sex and casual dismissal of an accidental product of that sex abhorrent, and would hope that, with both parties acting in a caring and mature way, a different solution would be reached.

What I was objecting to was the really outrageous, vulgar stand that someone took- an extreme that obviates any further discussion and any possibility of reconciliation. To me the topic wasn't abortion at all, but an attitude toward women. I don't discuss abortion usually; it is such an endless and unproductive (ooo-a pun!)debate!
