It's no big secret that Buchanan has anti-Semitic tendencies. That merely puts him in the same boat as Jesse Jackson. Jesse Jackson--the man who once called NYC "Hymie Town"--now wants us to believe he is deeply concerned with Jewish Americans and their voting rights. Don't kid yourself.

I think calling Buchanan a Nazi cheapens the word Nazi. I think he's anti-Israel. Senator Lieberman said that he doesn't think Buchanan is anti-Semitic.

But the more important fact is that we simply don't know, and can't know, who voted for Buchanan. Ballots are secret. The allegation that concentration camp survivors voted for a Nazi is a naked appeal to emotion.

I prefer rational thinking, myself.
