Greg,

My intentions were not to imply the current market conditions in the Nasdaq are comparable to the Nikkei. My sincerest apologies if that was the perception.

The following are irrefutable facts concerning the current Nasdaq bear market and history will transcribe it as so:

1) From peak to trough (current lows), the Nasdaq has retraced approximately 40%.

2) This is the worst Nasdaq bear market since 1973 - 1974 when the Nasdaq retraced 59.9% from its peak value.

3) The current Nasdaq crash from peak to trough was worst than the Nasdaq crash of 1987 (35.9%).

These facts are irrefutable. You may demand a recount if you wish or let the court of public opinion govern the perception of a Nasdaq bear market. And by the way, I agree with your assessment that we will have another 2 to 3 quarters of bad corporate earnings.

It all depends on Uncle Al...

Best Regards,
