The market is in a "speculative selloff" very much like the speculative bubble earlier this year. There are no fundamentals to actually justify stocks like Compaq and Microsft and others (with improving fundamentals) dropping.

Speculative selling...

I do hear things on TV about "earnings for tech coming down and will never stop" ... strange, companies like Compaq and Microsoft and others have increased the outlook. The news is actually reporting the opposite of what the companies are saying.

Yeah, and I'm about dead drunk. Just got back from a biz lunch with some buds.

We are both in the same condition. I'm so mad I could chew nails. Some people get scared and I get mad. I'm glad to see some one else shares this emotional reflex action.

Poor Michael. I think we drove him off with the exercise of our emotions.
