Its foolish to be 100% invested in the markets at a time like this so I think being 90% in cash is a good move. eh?

If you're expecting collapse, you could have gone short at the top around September 1 and waited for the big one. Your charts should have tipped you off.

How long is a long enough track record?

To be honest, pre-1987 with consistent market-beating returns.

If it makes you feel better, Mark Mobius, Mario Gabelli and Jeffrey Vinik don't pass the test either -- and Wall Street adores them.

What makes you think this is a bottom?

I didn't call a bottom one way or the other. I'm not a bull. I'm not a bear. I'm just a guy. My point is that doom-and-bloom sensationalism tends to push people into disaster at the inevitable bear bottoms.
