You know.. All those Applications... Like... Uh!! Oh! Well.... There must be thousands of them....

Been my concern for some time. Without the killer app to drive consumer demand, don't think we'll see 3G build out nearly as soon as projected. It also moderates my enthusiasm for QCOM, as not sure yet how the new economic reality in the wireless arena plays out. Of course Q* has so many irons in the fire (India, China, US/TDMA conversion) just in the narrow band arena they could prosper rather dramatically even if 3G is substantially delayed.

Wait here. Without 3G buildout, 2G CDMA networks will actually worths more because of its efficiency vs. GSM/GPRS (if it does not burn down one's ear).

QCOM do not need WCDMA (new spectrum). Just plain old 2G CDMA to replace the original analog spectrum to reach 1x. What a coup.
