legal challenges could be lodged on absentee ballots some criteria with potential challenges: - submitted ballot must be signed and dated by the absent voter - ballot must arrive in an official envelope which itself must be contained inside a secrecy envelope - submitted and mailed ballot envelope must be postmarked on or before Nov7th - ballot must be witnessed properly by an adult - the witness must qualify according to some requirements (not sure whether person must be an American) - a person can serve as witness to at most 6 absentees - at the mailed destination, a ballot envelope must be properly witnessed for its opening WHEW!!! the CNN guest regrettably informed viewers that absentee challenges can potentially be far more complex and detailed than any issue regarding recounts and chad criterion oh vey, Jim Willie
