What do you all think about the possibility that the decisions about litigation are driven by the large-money donors and union bosses and power brokers behind Gore. They are are telling him: "Al, if you withdraw/concede now, you will never get another cent or any support from us."

Al Gore has nothing to lose at this point. If he concedes, he will look magnanimous, BUT get no more money or support from power brokers and big money donors! If he presses forward with litigation he could win. Opinions?

It's hard for me to believe Gore is appealing this
The votes won't be counted until about Wednesday of next week, just in time for Thanksgiving. The whole matter will be tied up in one court or another until then, but there should be plenty of amusing events in the meantime.
