Chip ...

takes about 5k per year down here to get in the car and go down the driveway to get the newspaper ...... hehehehehe

back in my working days, I'd put close to 100k per year on my vehicle ...

We've put over 6k this year on the Lexus going to visit my mother in law .......
and I put about 40k per year on the ones I drive now.

I know Bob'll be able to find you a Lexus anyway ... Volvo isn't the most prolific seller here ....
but I think ParkPlace in Dallas where we bought ours is one of the top three volume Lexus dealers in the nation....

Chip:

I have two 850's (93, 95) between 105 and 115k miles. Both running fine. I've actually started looking for a new one. Probably wait till the spring / summer. Depending on price / time, etc. you may want to look into the volvo deal where you can order your car, fly to sweeden, drive it around (you and your wife can take some vacation time if inclined) and they'll ship it back. I understand they pay for airfare and 1 night stay and the car still is a couple k less then list in US.

I read about the program but haven't researched all the details. Should be on the website.
