Actually, that is a good segue into my next question, If Gilder only has GTR companies speak at his seminars, and he invited LVLT to speak at his seminar, it would suggest that, at the time, LVLT was still a player in the Gilder telecosm picture. The seminar was what, four months ago??? Any changes in the space in which LVLT plays in, that could happen in four months, would certainly not be so significant as to permanently put them at a competitive disadvantage. So I guess that I would ask the question: "Why would Gilder invite LVLT to speak at his seminar if he had hundreds of attendees spending thousands of dollars each to hear Gilder's vision, if LVLT didn't help to define his vision?" To take LVLT off of the list, he would have had his opinion forming long before the GTR which took LVLT off of the list, was published. Does my question make more sense now? McKie~ Curious question. Another question: Why? If it were the McKie Technology Review, and hundreds of attendees spending thousands of dollars each were there to hear speakers representing technologies that define the McKie vision, what is the purpose of inviting non-MTR companies to speak?
