I think Vegas has the most appeal, as there is a certain amoung of "gambler" in all of us, and hotel rooms are reasonable and certainly a lot of night life and places to hang out....

January/February has appeal to me as it is nice to get out of the snow belt, and a number of my long term positions will be sold in January....

Somewhere in Texas would be the logical and appropriate choice given this is where a solid number of "us" are from, and it is in the heart of oil country...so how much of a contribution will it take to have a BBQ at dubya's?

OT,
AEM seems to be defying gravity, up on good volume while the XAU is down. No news that I can find, but since they are expanding production into new areas, good news is possible.

Another beaten down stock with a good OBV and money flow.

Location? These chalky bones need sunny beaches & "human scenery"<G>

Getting a little chilly for continental US locations. How bout Cancun, the Caymens, Montego Bay or Negril (Jamaica). Not much cost difference for me vs Houston or Vegas.

If it's Cancun we should go during one of the big vacation breaks. Beach scenery definitely 20 on a scale of 10! And...gotta make a stop at Senior Foxes and/or Senior Frogs, so the young bucks can dance on the tables with the topless college girls<G>.

Oh hell, it'll be a blast no matter where we do it.

One thing's for sure, Jim. If you do it at your spread, better put those collector rugs into storage when this disreputable crew of roughnecks shows up<G>.

One good thing about the States is it'll be easier to book a good band. Used to be a rock and blues band agent, in the mid-70s, before I became a broker.
