If Republicans in Washington stay true to form, they won't back her up. She needs grass roots supporters to speak up and defend her.

The public reaction to this election -- when finally put to bed -- will be interesting. I just saw on a local San Francisco Bay Area news station footage from a large, loud, raucous rally in front of SF City Hall, with many calls for public demonstrations and general civil unrest.
