Marilyn likes ONLY fwd cars ... had been driving Lincoln Continentals since they came out fwd in 88 but liked the ES300 better than the 2000Cont .... ALL cars feel too small for me so I drive only Subs and full size pickups .... matter of fact, when I picked Paddy up at the hotel and took him to LoneStarPark several years ago, I was in one of the old Cont "loaners" I used to keep before our kids got good enough paying jobs they weren't using the BankOfDad all the time .... grin ... The ES has a tad over 14k (I think, that is appx) and was purchased in Sept last year ... has been in the shop ONLY for the desired mileage checkups and has NO problems .... of course, I've had NO problems with my Sub or pickup either ...... when/if ANY problem even begins/starts to become visible/audible I fix it .... quickly ... so I usually have very few probs .... I've owned 2 Volvos and they've been dependable but, damn, they're NOT pretty ..... actually, the Lexus I liked the best on the showroom was the GS .... I really really did like it but Mar said nah ... she liked the little one better ..... Bob will have a better idea than do I as to the current price on either ... I would've bought a used Lexus but that deal got nixed also ..... hehehe but on the new model Sub .. major change for 2000 and there aren't too many available ....
