<font color=lavendar> A rally?
The problem is when stocks like MUSE, ITWO, JNPR, SDLI move up 15% and then move down 15% how do you stay put and do you want to even stay put? The only answer is to tread lightly. Pick up a few call options or small stock positions on belwhethers. I don't get tempted on technology except for daytrades. Its like a Pavlovian Learned Response to the current market situation. Whenever there is a rally, You can salivate just thinking about the possible gains on the short side (i.e. MUSE, SDLI, JNPR, NUAN).. another caveat is that the puts get very cheap during a rally (IDPH was a buck and 1/2) and even more tempting.

The reverse is also true. Today's move down on VRSN, AGIL and NUAN made me think 'rally'.. Try to anticipate one step ahead, its not that difficult. The market climate trains you that way. The good part is that you are already ready to be 'untrained' and would like a rally. I am not a sworn and died-hard shorter, I actually like going long but since October there was just no point in fighting the trend just riding it.

Nice chart Jeff.. Trying saving the file to a .gif instead of a .jpg. It is a smaller file and sharper. How do you find time to pick those neat color schemes?
