I just sank [poor choice of words] some more money in GSTRF. Has ANYBODY else on this board bought more in the last week or two? Even staring BK in the face, the risk/reward ratio looks pretty darned good to me.

Wrong. It is the same loan as G* always has, LOR just bot the paper.

From LOR's viewpoint, they were going to have to pay up anyway if/when G* goes belly, this way they get a few steps up on the priority chain in recovering assets.
