They didn't overrule anyone, yet. Please read the stay instead of being your usual ignorant self.

>>They over reulled here due to the FACT of the "Abuse of Discretion" on her part<<

Ok Numb Numb. Post a link/news release that states she exercised an "Abuse of Discretion".

I think you're maybe misusing legal terms, not that I'm a lawyer, but I've been listening and haven;t heard the word overruled used at all. The word in the order is "enjoined". Harris is enjoined from certifying the votes in order to preserve the status quo until they can hear the case. She is allowed to count the absentees, etc. but not certify them. It's a big victory for the Gore camp, for sure. Had the vote been certified, it would have given a certain authority to BUsh's lead.

Unfortunately, the next partisan accusations will be about the court itself; already the networks are gleefully pointing out that they are all Democratic appointments, except one who was jointly Chiles-Bush appointed.

The FL SC simply does not want to let Katherine Harris-Poll in effect elect the next President on her own before they have their due process. Bottom line: No weekend end-run, but that's all for now.
