I tend to agree, they just decided that it is easier to stop something, even when you know the outcome, than it is to reverse it later if things change. She may still however go against the order?

I agree with your reasoning. However, the FL Supremes did not also stay the county canvassing boards. They keep reclassifying ballots. Thus, the numbers can change between now and Monday.
