Bilow, given the lack of decent candidates in either party, I don't think we can count either out for just one bad administration. Though Jimmie Carter did knock the Dems out of the picture for 12 years. <g>

bilow, i understand what you mean by legally "stealing" the election. disregard those folks that think you are a moron for stating your feelings this way - they aren't all there sometimes... ;-) please be reminded that this isn't about big bad dubya stealing an election. this is about two political whores battling it out for the prize john. if electronic counts aren't accurate, why did gore request and electronic recount? he is trying to count until he wins. why didn't gore originally request that the whole state be recounted instead of just those counties that he thought would "turn up" enough votes to win? he was trying to systematically manipulate the count until he wins. did gore all of sudden realize the waywardness of his approach and request a statewide manual recount or did he realize his attempt to steal the election was fading? did his desparation become so HIGH that he actually was FORCED to ask for the RIGHT thing? the bottom line is simple. if a person can't call both these candidates and their active supporter "bums" then, imho, they are exceptionally biased and blinded by some self serving motivation. no, "they are bums, but..." "THEY ARE BUMS." "THEY ARE BOTH INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST AND INCONSISTENT." "THEY BOTH WANT TO STEAL THE ELECTION BY MANIPULATING LAWS AND PEOPLE IN POWER." "THEY BOTH VALUE PERSONAL GAIN OVER NATIONAL BEST INTEREST." period.
