Ditto! I have never liked Al the Lesser. He is a Democratic lightweight of mindboggling proportions. There are only a few statesmanlike bones in his body. He showed a few of them in his efforts with the Russians to attempt to resolve the Bosnian "conflict," if you will. But, I believe he is fundamentally trivial. Simply put, I want a Democrat in the White House solely to spare any further erosion of constitutional rights. This routinely occurs when Republican presidents make appointments to the United States Supreme Court as ludicrous as, say, Clarence Thomas, who was appointed by George the Elder. One could say that my preference for a Democrat of any kind in the White House is similar to the consensus on this thread of a Republican of any kind. Supporting George the Lesser is equivalent to me of wanting ANY Republican. I too have "been concerned about someone as mentally challenged as Bush being President." He is the weakest mind of any presidential nominee in my lifetime. Ronnie the Actor was actually rather intelligent. He just didn't know much about government. But he surrounded himself with some intelligent, though reactionary, sorts. I have never understood how those concerned about the United States' financial institutions prefer a Republican, however "mentally challenged," over a Democrat. Republicans such as George the Lesser, because of their being "mentally challenged," will undoubtedly put the United States' international institutions, be they military or financial, at risk. Ronnie the Actor did so with his ill-advised "Stars Wars" scheme. It almost bankrupt the country. Granted the "evil empire" fell. But it was a "paper tiger" destined for doom anyway (JMHO). I just wonder what ill-advised, "mentally challenged" schemes George the Lesser has in mind. That's assuming he has a mind. /john
