Thanks for your note.

The discussions here do get a little heated, and most don't get too out of line. It is interesting that in an election in which there was so little passion for either candidate, there is a lot of passion in resolving this voting glitch that seems to bring out a lot of old bad feelings in people's party affiliations. I honestly don't think that anyone is trying to illegally "rig" this election, but both sides are doing all that they can to gain advantage (fair or not). It is an interesting process, and one that (hopefully) all will put behind when it ends. SI has been a place (for the most part) for very civil discourse which has degenerated in some places in the last few weeks. I am hopeful that it will return to being a civil and respectful place.
