Roger. I concur. Bottom line, everything becomes political, and as a result, there is less and less rule of law. All is political. Where does that leave us? Hint: Research Lenin, Marx, Stalin. BAD. EVIL. For further study, not suggesting that we're there, study Hitler, Mussolini. Does history does repeat itself? Why don't people don't learn from it?

Thoughts on the recount nonsense

There is no doubt that the recount is a smokescreen for the real issue at hand, an issue that the "powers-that-be" are failing to confront. Various recounts have not really amounted to significant changes in the tallies.

The issue is clearly the validity of that "butterfly" ballot in West Palm Beach County. I realize that it was approved by both parties' officials. But, seriously, have you ever met a local party official? <ggg> That ballot was approved by a couple clowns (one from each party) while said clowns (that's legalize) were on their way to lunch to have their palms greased. Said approval led to thousands of morons not knowing how to vote. An experiment last week in a fourth grade classroom clearly demonstrated to me that they were, in fact, morons. Why? All the students correctly used the "butterfly" ballot.

So what's the solution? To say you don't have the right to vote because you're an idiot? The constitution grants voting rights to idiots. Maybe there should be an intelligence test for voting. But there is not!

This election is not going to be resolved until the validity of the ballot in West Palm Beach is confirmed. Either that or unless a hand recount allows handcounters (who may also be idiots) to try to get inside the head of an idiot's vote. Yikes! That's idiot squared. Welcome to America. Election gridlock.
