Drive it down and pick some up. Old story. What I would do if I were a crook.. er I mean broker. So... who is looking at long term trends? Linux continues to get better and will always be more flexible and configurable. The hidden cost of the system is what it costs to get some vertical code writ. Buy a SUN and see. Deep pocket system. Macs. Shell out the shekels. On the other hand linux has nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat. But it rises from the ashes and the rubble to soldier on, undaunted by the foe. We shall fight on the beaches, and in the streets, we shall never surrender. Some chicken, some neck.. etc..

So where were we? Well how far are you looking ahead? When you are old and grey and bouncing a great grandkid on your knee and he brings out his Linux colouring book and your eyes go misty with remembrances of CPM-86 and your glory days.. what will you say when his innocent shining eyes look up at you.. and he asks.. did you know Linus Torvalds really? and how many shares of Red Hat did you buy when it hit its low granpa?

Granpa knew better you will say bitterly. That is why he lives in a one room apartment on the edge of town and eats catfood.
