Thanks for the response. I played with the numbers for a bit in a spreadsheet and then decided to see look at the current value.

For the positions you noted, the total value at the end of 3Q00 was $2,247M compared to the reported total of $4,458M so this is about half of the total value.

Maybe you should tell us al how you VA linux is doing - you know - the VA Linux you bought at $275/share - now selling for $13 1/8.

You set yourself up as some critic of Intel's financial investments - yet your own investment strategy has lost you 95% of your investment.

Since Intel is doing far better than you, maybe you should put a cork in it and pay more attention to YOUR OWN business instead of Intel's.
