Secondly, the term La Raza as conceived by Vasconcelos and as used by the educated is an entirely inclusive term, it refers to the mix of blood and culture developing in these Américas, formed of the indigenous combined with those of other continents, and while it is true that V did use it in part to point out the absurdity of the tightassedness and will to dominate of the anglosajona culture, and the tendency of la cultura hispanoamericana to resist that domination, those traits are becoming ameliorated due to improved communications and transport, our cultures grow together as we learn from one another, so as far as i'm concerned, amigo, don't worry about La Raza, as long as you can say gracias when i hand you a taco, you're in it.
