Of course I would admit to being a democrat now. Proudly. Its ridiculous for any Republican to criticize Gore or the DNC or FDP for the way they have handled this mess. If the roles were reversed you know W. would be upset. If Gore wins through recounts or absentee or whatever, W will change his tune. We are talking about men who have been educated in the finest institutions this country has, granted one man didnt fare as well as the other, you would think that what they are doing is deliberate, calculated and the most logical and reasonable thing to do given circumstances and alternatives. That said, one man is not acting any differnt than the other. The details are a product of specific circumstances but turn those circumstances 180 degrees and the arguments are swapped. Its funny how partisanship can cloud the judgement of even the most rational person.
