What a racist response that was. Those red-necks and good old boys you so seem to hate are the ones that do most of the working in this country. They may not be sitting in some office dreaming up the next IPO or the next big piece of shit blockbuster movie, but they are the ones that feed you and warm your house and have probably spilled blood for you on some battlefield somewhere. Excuse them if they want to be left alone from government intrusion or the cultural wasteland the rest of us lap up like dogs.

BTW, If ballot rigging, lying and bullying is your idea of forward looking, I want no part of it.

"Yes they are probably rich, though none of them are old and mean in the style of Trent Lott, Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, Dick Army, et al. You are also right about the map. The progressive, modern thinking, forward looking, economic engine type of states voted for Gore while the red-necks and the good-old boys went with Bush."

The so called "red-necks and the good-old boys" that you refer to provide the FOOD that fuels this country. Without them there wouldn't be any "progressive, modern thinking, forward looking, economic engine type of states " CASE CLOSED!
