flapjack, the election is hopelessly tainted. Only the very naive will have confidence that Gore truly won. He is receiving votes created with a fingernail pregnancy, illegal punchouts of chads, etc.. There is nothing more to do because the democrats have manipulated a win regardless of the true vote. But, the one saving grace is gore cannot and will not be effective and will go down as a very corrupt man. In 2002 and 2004 I believe all fair minded people will be motivated to change this shameful situation. I see republicans, independents and democrats standing behind more ethical candidates in our next election. I have talked with multiple registered democrats who resent what is presently happening. Democrats with ethics don't want to be a part of a stolen election.
