Mcweaz, If Hitech thinks there are Democrats out there that think Gore should gracefully bow out, he does so because he thinks people are inherently good. For me, it gets harder by the day maintaining this belief.

You are wrong. We are very upset at what is happening because it is illegal, unethical and unfair. However, the one warm feeling I have is I know if the position was reversed Gore would already be the President Elect because Bush would have readily conceded. America has had statesman in our recent history who campaigned hard but accepted the will of the people and preserved integrity and a bond between our people of different persuasions. Gore has now created a chasm between our people. He has done it in creating divisiveness before and now for his ultimate divisive and unethical move. I know you have heard it before but Nixon had the 1960 election stolen from him. For the sake of the country he conceded the election knowing he could fight but also knowing what it would do to our country. Ironically, the mastermind of the corrupt election was Bill Daley's father, the mob boss and mayor of Chicago. Ford lost by a hair in 1976 and many encouraged him to ask for a recount and he, again, conceded without it because of his respect for our country and our highest office.
